According to the Buffalo News, Bills running back Fred Jackson is out 4-6 weeks. No surprise there – it was reported yesterday that Jackson hurt his hand in Buffalo’s preseason opener.

But in a double-whammy, you can add Marshawn Lynch to the injury list, as well. Lynch is out three to four weeks with a sprained ankle. The former first-round pick’s golden opportunity to steal carries back from Jackson will have to wait until September.

Because Jackson will likely be on the shelf when the regular season opens up, Lynch could still earn the starting nod against Miami in Week 1.

Until then, though, expect Chad Simpson (or perhaps a free agent pickup) to carry the load for the Bills. (And don’t forget, there’s still that C.J. Spiller fella.)

This is not "Poor Buffalo"!!!  This is what Chan predicted and why Buffalo went with Spiller No.1 in the draft.  When CJ was drafted, Lynch looked over his sholder.  When Spiller signed his contract, Lynch started running for his life.  There is no new news here except that everyone is surprized Spiller is now the number 1 back on the depth charts.  It was as if Coach Gailey knew this day was coming.

Who is going to be worse?  The Bills or the Rams?  Poor Buffalo, they just can't seem to right the ship.

Bills to be without top two running backs

It's really depressing being a Bills fan. They wont go get a Q.B.. They have not addressed the Off. line. And the only this they have going for them is their running game and now this happens! Just sell this team and get this 20 year night mare over with please. Or atleast some one bye the team who actually cares about winning and not just making money for himself. This team is cursed and i have been a season ticket holder for the last 8 yrs and its finally over. I'm done putting my money into a team who can care less about winning. Nice job Ralph Wilson you lost another season ticket holder.
