The plan was to write about how the Bears offense is struggling this preseason in Mike Martz’s new system. But, shamefully, we find this (and we know that you find this) much more interesting. (And besides, given Chicago’s porous offensive line, we’ll have all season to write about the struggles in Martz’s system.)
So, onto the interesting news: Bears quarterback Jay Cutler is dating Kristin Cavallari, star of MTV’s The Hills. Ironically, Cavallari, 23, was born in Denver. She has had appearances in a few movies – none of which any of us have ever heard of. Her break into stardom came either in Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County or The Hills (depends on how much credibility you give Laguna Beach). Her turns-ons include humor, athleticism and interceptions.
ChicagoBreakingSports.com brought this topic up with Cutler Tuesday:
We asked Cutler if he's ready for the Tony Romo-like spotlight. "I won't get into that stuff like he does. That's going to be ... all of that stuff is on the backburner," he replied.
But, a Bears QB and a Hollywood reality star is huge news, right? His enigmatic response: "It'll be interesting."
