Charley Casserly, appearing on our television mother ship, dropped a pretty large bomb, reporting that Randy Moss and Tom Brady had to be separated in the locker room following a fight that revolved around hair insults.

Apparently, Brady told Moss that he should shave his beard and Moss told Brady he needed to hit up the barber so he'd look less like Justin Bieber (actually, Moss reportedly told Brady he looked like a girl, but the Bieber joke would've been much funnier, no?).

Earlier today, Michael Irvin started ranting with Terrell Owens about Tom Brady remaining silent in the wake of his team trading his best deep target -- it's pretty safe to say there's a good reason why you haven't heard Brady get angry that the team did what they did.

You're kidding, right?  Keep your moronic stats to yourself.  Welker's 1st 3 years in the league was with the Dolphins - a team that probably threw for 2500 yds/year when he was there.

Probably? Do you have actual hard numbers to support anything? Moronic Stats, at least they have merit and credibility, not like I just made the number 2500 up in my head. How about we try this, take away Randy Moss's stats for 2007 and all those jump balls that Brady threw into coverage where Moss saved his ass and see what that 50 TD season really looked like.  A Patriot fan who wants to discount Welker's stats from Miami. So he sucked in Miami, must be why Belichick traded for him.... who's the football dummy now? Let's also discount Moss's stats from the Vikings, do you think Belichick still trades for him?

Keep thinking your mancrush on your girly QB is okay, personally I am not a fan of anyone who tries to look like Justin Beiber. A team mate with stones finally called out Tammy Brady out and his daddy ships him off to Minnesota. Take off your rose colored glasses and watch how many times Tammy Brady whines to the refs, I dare you. We're all sick of the preferential treatment he gets. And when he does not get it, he pouts like a b1tch. My best guess is that you eat Christmas decorations just so you can crap blue and silver. My advice is to not eat the ones made in China, that lead level is distorting your logic.

I am sure Bellicheck thought there was a minor risk and according to the wording of the rules they were overpunished by far

And the rest of us are pretty confident that Goodell fined Hoodie 500,000 because he jeopardized the integrity of the game.  A minor risk is running a traffic light, a huge gamble is taking the rule book and deciding you are above it.  This is the guy who eats, breathes, and studies football and probably sleeps with the rule book.  "I misunderstood the rules" is like O.J. Simpson saying  "I used bad judgement".

It just amazes me how low the level of intelligence is in this country.  You guys fall for a bad report and take it as gospel that these two guys got into a fight about hair that caused a trade.  The source, Bellichick arch enemy Charley "I'm usually wrong" Casserly.

And this article gets more replies from all of your ignorant people than actual football related material.

Congratulations.

I hope you're all voting in the coming elections.  Maybe we can have more of the same greatness.

Actually the hitting a QB below the knee rule was created for Carson Palmer after the Steelers broke his leg in the playoffs in '06. Know your stats if you're going to argue.

The Patriots were filming the Coaches, not the game.  That is why they got in trouble.  They were filming the coaches, figuring out their defensive signals, and using that to their advantage.  They were also caught filming practices, which is even more deplorable.  Since they have got caught, they have won exactly 0 titles.  It proves that without the edge created by cheating, they are not an elite team.

As for rules created for Brady.  I can think of a few.  Hitting a QB below the knees for instance.  The tuck rule was changed after a play involving Brady.  If it were around before Brady, as you state, then the Raiders would have won the AFC Championship that year and the Pats would be short a ring.

Wow!  Where to begin.  You are completely, 100% wrong on several counts.

First off, the Patriots were NEVER caught filming practices.  A former team video assistant by the name of Matt Walsh made the allegation that they had taped the Rams walk-through before SB XXXVI and claimed to have the tapes but those allegations were disproven, as when challenged, Walsh couldn't produce any tapes.

Second, the fact that the Pats haven't won any titles since being caught means nothing.  The fact is, they won 18 straight games in the immediate aftermath of SpyGate and came within one defensive stop of going 19-0.

Thirdly, you completely betray your ignorance when you say that the Tuck Rule was changed after the Brady play.  The fact is, the Tuck Rule WAS in the books already.  That's precisely the reason why that fumble call was reversed.  If there had been no Tuck Rule the fumble call would have been upheld.

Serious question - did you just start watching football in the past week or something?  I ask because your post was possibly the most embarassingly ignorant thing I've ever read on this board.
