D. McCluster
According to Kansas City 610 AM radio personality Nick Wright, Chiefs rookie sensation Dexter McCluster has a high ankle sprain and could be out multiple weeks.

McCluster was injured last Sunday against the Jaguars. The timing was extra unfortunate considering his role as a running back was expanding in that game (he had four carries for 28 yards coming out of the backfield; he had just seven rushing attempts in the previous five games).

With McCluster on the mend, the Chiefs will have to find a new source of electricity in the slot. McCluster has just 15 receptions for 149 yards in six games this season, though every catch has seemingly brought some form of momentum swing.

The Chiefs can fill McCluster’s void in the return game with Javier Arenas, but like the Saints without Reggie Bush, they’ll miss the decoy value and versatility he brings to the offense.

Dexter was a RB in college - he is offically a WR in the NFL.

As for can't catch the ball - he's been thrown to 23 times and caught 15. That is 65% which is exactly the same percentage od catches vs targets as Roddy White.... higher than Brandon Marshall, and 4% less than Reghie Wayne. I'd take that percentage from a WR anyday.

It is his versitility that the Chiefs will miss - returns, receiving, and running. This kid is the KC version of Percy Harvin. Give him a year and he will be in the stud catgory just like Harvin is today.

Well this sucks for McClusters growth. It seemed to me last week he really found an identity in the passing game for us, gaining big first downs for us. Against Buffalo though this is the time to unleash Charles. Give Charles all the play calls that would normally go to Dex and sit back and watch Charles have an absolute monster day. Big game for our NUMBER 1 RANKED RUSH OFFENSE!!!! GO CHIEFS

Go Chargers? Don't you mean Uncharged? Underachievers!! They are the Cowboys of the AFC. SD's first mistake was letting Marty go. 2nd mistake: letting LT go. Biggest mistake: Thinking Norv Turner will do something with the team.

So far this season we have been lucky as far as injuries go. Although I hate to seee any Chief go down to injury, better McCluster than one of our starting O line or D backs.

NO problemo, , star defensive player + kick-off returner from Bama will do just fine thank you; but like said above, the confusion factor will be there "IF" both of them aren't available for duty..........so get well quick Dexter!!! The Chiefs need you!
