Reggie Wayne: 'I shouldn't have suited up'

Colts WR Reggie Wayne was less than pleased following Indianapolis’ loss Saturday night to the Jets.

And the fact that QB Peyton Manning targeted him only once – and the fact Jets CB Darrelle Revis was draped all over him for most of the night – left Wayne in a sour mood.

"It's bull. It's bull, man," Wayne said, via the Indy Star. "I give everything I've got no matter what. Every day, I give it everything. And . . . one ball, that's all."

And then, Wayne began to act like a bit of a baby.

"I shouldn't have even suited up," Wayne said. "I should have watched the game like everybody else. I was irrelevant."

Perhaps Wayne forgot that he needs to find a way to get open in order for Manning to try to pass him the ball. As NBC’s replays showed over and over again, Revis simply wasn't letting that happen.

Reggie Wayne: 'I shouldn't have suited up'

So all these years Manning has just had terrible teams and that's why they always lose in the playoffs. Well that makes sense. The Colts are and have always been a horrible team that just happened to have the greatest qb of all time. That makes sense. Also Magic is an aids infested joke. Jordan is the greatest of all time. Magic would have been nothing without Worthy and Kareem. Jordan made Pippen a hall of famer.

If the Patriots are all about Brady; why did they do extremely well when Brady was out for the season?  How do you think the Colts would do without Peyton for the season?   Those answers alone should make it clear the difference between the QBs.

Colts may be 9-10 in playoffs with Peyton as a QB...but how many playoff games would they be in without him?

Manning cannot carry a team to a SB.  He'll get to the playoffs..but he can't carry them alone.  He needs help.

I agree with the poster who said they play too conservative.  If you have Peyton why the heck are you running on a 3rd and long; esp a crucial one?  I would have passed all three plays.  Put the game in Peyton's hands.  That is why you are there.

Brady is in a system.  Peyton is the system.  That is the difference between good and elite.  It isn't about championships.....it is about ability.  Championships are team achievements.  If only Peyton had half the team Brady has been blessed with and half the coaching abilities...not to mention the video-taping.

Brady is blessed with a good system. Peyton is blessed with talent and leadership.  I'd take Peyton every time over Brady.

It is like picking Magic Johnson or Robert Horry....  Horry has more rings but Magic is the goat.

how many times has Brady thrown for 50 other than 2007?  Zero.

The most inane, senseless comment I've ever read !

NOBODY has thrown for 50 TDs EXCEPT for Brady sir ! Please excuse yourself from these boards until you can debate and converse sensibly !!
