UPDATE (5:12 p.m.):
The video on WBAY.com is no longer available. Which is, um, interesting.

Since it’s hard – not to mention slightly unfair – to pass judgment on Packers QB Aaron Rodgers in the video below, we’ve chosen instead to highlight the decentness of LB Clay Matthews.

In this video taken by WBAY, (H/T to Pro Football Talk for the link) the TV station runs a package of the Packers arriving at the airport for their flight to Atlanta for Saturday’s Falcons game.

One of the fans were there waiting for autographs was an older woman wearing a pink “breast cancer” Packers hat who, herself, is fighting cancer. She told the interviewing reporter how much she wanted an autograph from Rodgers, who then blew right by her without so much as glancing at her.

But we won’t judge. We don’t know how the video was edited. We don’t know if he simply didn’t see her. We don’t know if he was talking to somebody on the phone (with ear buds on). So, we won’t take this opportunity to blast Rodgers.

Instead, check out the reaction from Matthews as he enters the airport and walks right over to her to meet her and sign an autograph. It is, one supposes, what you want out of the athletes who play for your favorite team.

Here's Rodgers' supposed snub:

And Matthews being a good guy:

Let's break down that 11-5 record, shall we?:

Week 1 Detroit, Given a "win" that the ref's stole from the Lions

Week 2. @ Dallas, need I go any further?, 2 "wins"

week 3 Green Bay, Eke out a win @ home against a team w/ 18 penalties, I think we can agree that there were some pretty horrible calls against both teams, 3 "wins"

week 4 @ Giants... Loss

week 5 @ Carolina, If ever there was a time to start your back up QB, this would be the game!!, 4 "wins"

week 6 Seattle...Loss

week 7 Washington....Loss (GB lost to them also)

week 9 @ Buffalo, eke out a win against the Bills??, I guess it's legit, 5 "wins"

week 10 Minnesota, legit again, 6 "wins"

week 11 @Miami, here is the start of 3 weeks of good fortune, 3rd string QB starting, 7 "wins"

week 12 Pilly, both starting CB's out was it??, 8 "wins"

week 13 A Detroit, 3rd string QB starting, barely eke out a win thanks to a horrible penalty call against Suh that keeps a TD drive alive, 9 "wins"

week 14... we all remember this one....Loss

week 15 @ Minny, Legit win, 10 "wins"

week 16 Jets, who saw a shootout coming in this one??, I'll even call it legit, 11 "wins"

week 17 @Packers, loss. Please don't be the guy that says the Bears had nothing to play for, the reason the starters plaed the entire game was to try and avoid their wost fear becoming reality.... having to face the Pack in the playoffs!!

Divisional round, Seahawks, the Bears do what you're supposed to do to teams with a losing record that make the playoffs.

Look, I'm am not blaming the Bears, they don't have control over officiating, other teams key player getting hurt, or scheduling of games, but let's be honest, no injuries to speak of, alot of breaks this year, I'd say that the luck is about to run out.

I suppose that some will the Packers are lucky to be where they are right now with all of the injury issues they faced this season, I would say that luck has nothing to do with it, smart front office, building depth through the draft, etc., I may havr to take bacj all of the mean things i've said about Ted Thompson..

"I am still trying to figure out why the Bear will "be exposed" this weekend"

Still trying to figure this one out? I'll pick one thing for now, Hmmmm I'll go with Dom Capers defense confusing the hell out of Jay.

With that said, I'd say good luck Bears, but I think they used all of their luck to get where they are!!!

"and one terribly fortunate & about to be exposed team(guess which one!)"

OOOOO, I know, I know!!! The team that went 11-5, won the division, got the second seed and advanced to the NFC championship. You know, the overated team that Aaron Rodgers put up Mediocre stats against in two games. I am still trying to figure out why the Bear will "be exposed" this weekend. The Packers were playing for their post season life in week 17 and it took them 3 1/2 quarters to find the endzone, and that was in the dreaded frozen tundra .

In any event, I love the arrogance and I pull for you to keep it up. The Bears were not picked to win even 7 games this year (including me) The Bears were not picked by anyone to win that division (including me). The Bears were not picked by anyone to even sniff the playoffs (including me). I want them as a huge underdog in this game because that has worked pretty well so far.

"I mean really, when the Bears get taken out behind their own wood shed for a good ol' fashioned Ass whoopin' by a "douche bag" how bad will they look!!!!"

Why? Aaron Rodgers has faced the Bears twice this year and has WHOOPED THEIR ASS for a whopping total of 2 TD's and 2 Int's. Not to mention lost the real game and won the game that meant nothing to the Bears. Have the Packers figured something out all of the sudden?

Well said. But just to add to your point, Cutler may just be the biggest prick in the league, though Phil Rivers is up there to. It's so aggravating to me how smug and arrogant Cutler is when he hasn't won a damn thing. As long as the Pack doesn't beat themselves, they should come out with a W this Sunday. I have a feeling that Cutler will do more to hurt the Bears than help them.
