Brady had fractured foot this whole time

T. Brady was playing with a fracture in his foot. Posted by Josh Katzowitz

There was a report this morning out of Boston from radio station WEEI where the Dennis and Callahan show hosts reported that Patriots QB Tom Brady suffered a fractured foot either before or during the Jets game.

CSNNE.com’s Tom Curran confirms the report this afternoon, but two of his sources say that’s it’s more of a condition – and less of an injury – and that his foot last Sunday actually felt better than it has in the recent past.

From the story:

More accurately, Brady's dealing with an ongoing stress fracture that predates the 2010 season. It's not so much an injury as a condition, which explains why he's not listed weekly on the injury report with a foot ailment.

At points it flares up significantly. The week after the Patriots played Cleveland was one of those times. At that point, he was listed with a foot injury on the weekly report.

But with rest and treatment over the weeks that followed, Brady's foot improved to the point that by the time he took the field against the Jets, he was virtually asymptomatic.

One source said that to say Brady was impacted on Sunday would be "unjust.

Saying that Pats choked is an excuse??? Are you a complete freaking moron, Uncle Marty? You can toss out all the stats you want, but the bottom line is that if Crumpler caught that ball, it would have been 10-0 and that's when the Pats thrive and the Jets fail.

Hey uncle marty...remember the Jets got it to 14 points when they recovered an onside kick.  Look at tit this way.  The Jets outplayed the Patriots most of the game and they were still leading by only 3 in the 4th Qtr.  No question...the Patriots blew it.  They were and are clearly the better team.  They just thought they were on Sunday too and the Jets didnt believe them

Brady had fractured foot this whole time

What an idiot you are.  A guy plays for weeks on a fractured foot, wins 6-8 games in a row without discussing it and his a Baby???  If you want the real definition of baby, look no further than the Jet wearing #21.  Remember he's the guy in San Diego, during the championship gane, played one play and came out because his" widdow Knee hurts".  Meanwhile his QB has a torn ACL and he battles the whole game.  Get your facts staight butt-hole before you speak !!

If Crybaby Tom Baby was indeed injured long before getting beaten to a pulp by the Jets vaunted defense then he should have made it known to everyone...
"Before I begin the 2010 season I want everyone to know that I am playing through an injury. If I fall short of winning the Super Bowl it is because I have a legitimate excuse because I have used it long before anyone would suspect that I'm using it as a crutch for my poor play, which I humbly apologize and deeply regret. I also want to address the rumor that I grew my hair out because I thought that it would give me great strength like it did for Samson. The truth is Giselle likes to cut my hair, but she does a very bad job at it. One time she almost cut off my ear. So from that point on I told her that I am superstitious and will grow my hair out until I win the Super Bowl or get booted out of the playoffs."

Do you people even read???

Or did anyone listen to or read the transcript from his Monday morning interview? At no point did he make any excuses for the poor performance-he acknowledged it! He felt fine! It was bad plays and poor performance that lost the game. At no point did he mention or attribute it to any kind of injury.

You people need to get your heads out of your a$$es. Honestly.

I didn't think the Pats would lower themselves to excuses.  The Pats got tore up by the Jets. Deal with it.

That loss was not Brady's fault. It was the Patriots inability to make plays when they needed to (Crumpler dropping a TD pass, McCourty and Merriweather failing to tackle Edwards, and Branch dropping the 4th down pass he should have been expecting to be thrown to his back shoulder)... and let's not forget the dumb decision to fake a punt with a minute left in the half... Sanchez isn't capable of driving 80 yards in under a minute. Shortening the field by faking the punt was stupid. It basically guaranteed the Jets at least 3-pts at the end of the half. The Pats blew that game.... and everyone in New England knows it.

More excuses. Dude, the game was decided by 7 points but it wasn't even that close. The Jets pretty much beat the Patriots up for most of that game. All you pathetic pats fans in denial. Sanchez can't drive the Jets down 80 yards, you say...except he did it 3 times this season in the 4th quarter to pull out close games. Remember that it was a 14 point game and that last TD was a garbage time TD. The Jets didn't even need a last minute drive to finish off the Pats. Meanwhile, Sanchez' rating was better than Brady's...and that INT that Brady threw...that was Branch's fault too, i suppose? Wait...maybe some football fairy sprinkled special fairy dust in Brady's eye so he though that David Harris was actually Wes Welker....Or wait...maybe Brady had to pee pee so he threw the ball to the wrong color jersey....or maybe his toenails were too long and he couldn't step into the throw....

Always some BS excuse with you Pats fans...meanwhile, tell me what happened to the Pats the last 2 times they faced a NY team in the postseason....that's right - Strahan and the Giants whipped them and then Sanchez and the Jets whipped them. And what is the Pats record against the Jets recently???? Less than .500. So the Jets have Brady's number.

But don't feel bad, for the second year in a row you can watch Gang Green in the AFC championship game.
