J. Peppers
The helmet to helmet hit on Aaron Rodgers that earned Julius Peppers a 15-yard personal foul in the NFC Championship game also earned the Bears defensive end a $10,000 fine. This according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

It seemed like a "controversial" call at the time but only because the Soldier Field crowd, naturally, booed it. The reality is Peppers drilled the crown of his helmet into Rodgers’ jaw. He’s lucky the fine wasn’t steeper. And the Packers are lucky that Rodgers did not suffer his third concussion of the season on that play.

You are just plain ignorant to the fact that Peppers just drilled him with his helmet and Rogers is lucky he had a special helmet made for him otherwise he would be out and maybe his career over!!! Your just an idiot...

ya'll must be seeing a different play than what i saw.  to lead with the crown of your helmet, wouldn't you have to lower your head?  To hit with the crown, you would hit with the "top" of the helmet, right?? this used to be called spearing.  If you look at the play, Peppers came in and basically wrapped his arms around rodgers and he turned his head to the side, so not to hit him with his facemask.   He came in low thus the Crown of the helmet hit rodgers chin.  This happened at a blink of an eye it could not have been avoided just the way the 2 boies collided.  Yes I am a Bears fan, but that has nothing to do with it.  I don't like these type calls period, even if its against the Packers.  The D for any team now cannot hit the QB and its ruining the game.  Peppers did not launch and/or spear thw qb, plain and simple

How come offensive ball carriers are allowed to lead with their head on every single play? But defensive players are supposed to somehow remove their head from their body (which is impossible last time I checked)? Defenders are going to have to go train in Thailand and learn how to deliver flying Mua Thai knees and knock ball carriers the F#$k out!!
